Many parts we sell carry a manufacturer's warranty. The terms, duration, and coverage vary by brand and product.

Our defect policy matches the terms of our distributor, Motor State:

• !Report it before you install it. Defect claims must be made before the part is installed. Because of how they're used, racing parts are not covered once they've been installed or used.
• ✓Replacement or refund once the part is confirmed defective
• ✗Shipping charges are not refunded

Inspect every part when it arrives, and email us before installing anything that looks wrong.

• ✗Installed or used parts — defect claims must be made before installation (manufacturer warranties may still apply)
• ✗Normal wear and tear — racing parts are consumables by nature
• ✗Misuse or improper installation — parts must be installed correctly per manufacturer specs
• ✗Crash or collision damage — parts damaged in racing incidents
• ✗Modifications — parts that have been altered, drilled, welded, or modified from their original form
• ✗Used/takeoff parts — sold as-is unless otherwise noted in the listing

Racing is inherently dangerous. By purchasing parts from Shatto Motorsports, you acknowledge and agree that:

• •You assume all risk associated with the use and installation of parts purchased from us
• •It is your responsibility to ensure parts are properly installed, inspected, and maintained
• •Parts should be inspected by a qualified mechanic before use in competition
• •You are responsible for verifying fitment and compatibility with your specific vehicle and setup

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for lost race winnings, towing, labor, or other incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

For new parts, any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to 90 days from delivery. Used and takeoff parts are sold AS IS, with no warranty of any kind, unless the listing says otherwise. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you.
