From the pits — what we ran, what worked, and what we learned
Opening Night at Shady Bowl
Shady Bowl Speedway — May 2, 2026
Season opener for the Buckeye 200 Series. The Modified ran strong all night, qualifying P3 and holding steady through traffic. The track was slick early but came in with rubber by the feature.

Setup Notes
We went softer on the LF spring this week — 200lb Hyperco instead of the usual 250lb. With the track being slick early in the season, the softer spring helped us rotate better through the center. Ran the AFCO 10 series shocks with 2 extra clicks of rebound.
Parts We Ran
LF spring — key to our setup this week
Reliable and rebuildable
Zero slop after a full season
HRA Cabin Fever Weekend
Shady Bowl Speedway — March 28-29, 2026
Pre-season shakedown at the HRA Cabin Fever event. Used this weekend to test our off-season changes and get dialed in before the points season starts. Both cars made laps and we gathered good data.

Setup Notes
First time running the new Pro Shocks C321/C322 combo on the late model. Initial impressions are great — much better body control than what we had last year. We ran 4 clicks compression on the C321 and 3 on the C322 as a starting point.
Parts We Ran
New for 2026 — first impressions are excellent
Paired with the C321 for consistent front end
Great modulation for the tight Shady Bowl corners
Safety first — quick disconnect every race
